am waiting for everyone to say that I could reduce it (I know, I know!)
Yes you could reduce it but you have got a one month old baby so I think that gives you a good enough excuse.

 I have constant rage at our tiny tiny fridge and its freezer compartment; basically impossible to have more than 4 or 5 days' worth of food in there, can never freeze left-overs, etc. I consider where to put a big fridge-freezer, daily!
I'd struggle with that little fridge/freezer space. I did when I was on my own but once there's more than one of you, you just have to shop so frequently that it's a lot of work. We have a tall upright freezer and I've been thinking we could do with a chest freezer for the shed too as I'm struggling to fit everything in.

i've just done my meal plan for the rest of the month so i can go to asda tomorrow and its going to be about £28 for meat for the month :money: *smug*

i shamelessly buy smart price frozen chicken breasts and all meat except mince frozen too. i dont really like doing it, i'm much more of a fan of free range/organic but OH flatly refuses to eat a meal without meat in it (it isnt a meal apparantly ) so unfortunately the morals had to go :( i've done quite well with him to get him down from eating 5 sausages to 3 in one sitting, he also used to eat 2 chicken breasts if thats what we were having!! greedy pig.

we also have no freezer space, only 2 drawers, so i took the drawers out and stack everything up in a vain effort to try and get it all in!

Oh my belly hurts and it's swollen back up to what it was this time 4 months ago. No idea what has disagreed with me, maybe too much chocolate? However, stovies are re-heating yummy! :D

Look, changed my user pic, aint she sweet with her funny face? (and missing thumb) :rotfl:

Weezl, you might be able to answer this for me. I make my white sauce with cornflour and full fat milk, how does the calorie contend work out for baby food doing it that way? (I'm mainly thinking about cheese sauce for macaronni)

Krystal, fairies are planning a trip to the fairy post office on Monday ;)

sounds like it would be high enough fat content with the cheese. Do you put butter/marg in?
