Heehee! Hope your throat is okay today? I don't really get the time now, you'll notice my actual crafting went down the swanney when baby G started spending more of her day awake!Good grief, how do you find the time?! Love your website.. have bookmarked for a proper read later
But alas for now, my child is trying to kill me  Just had a screaming fit where he pressed hard on my throat _pale_ Just regaining the talent of breathing.. (while he lies on my knee, trying to charm me with smiles!)searching_me wrote: »cheers AM ...

Nigella's chocolate mousse cake uses 8 eggs. Meringue? Creme Brulee?
Gosh I think it's totally reasonable to feel like this, what an upheaval for you! I think you've been given some great advice, but take care of yourself. I know only too well how feeling a bit down can suddenly mutate into being depressed *hugs*gingernutbizkit wrote: »I'm not sure if this is the place to post but I feel like a need some support before I go out of my mind.
A year ago I left a job I loved and felt valued at to become a foster parent. I am lucky enough to be fostering three gorgeous boys who have become a part of our family and who I love very much.
My life is now very different. I am effectively a SAHM (not allowed to work) and will be for the next 10 years at least. I seem to be on an endless cycle of washing, cleaning, cooking etc etc and to be honest it's boring me to tears. I know that there is a lot of stuff I could be doing with my day but I just can't seem to get motivated.
In addition, my partner works all kinds of odd hours and I seem to be alone in the house for hours on end. I looked into day classes/courses etc but they seem to all be aimed at the retired (I'm only 27) and most of my friends work during the day.
I'm feeling really depressed and don't know what to do.
Thanks for listening to my ramblings.

It's brutal isn't it? Hubby and I had an EPIC fight last night, all sparked by me trying to start a new sewing project at 11.30pm at night and discovering the kids had been using my scissors for some dastardly fun so they wouldn't cut fabric. I feel patently ridiculous today but last night I was divorcing him and leaving him and leaving the kids with him because I was sick of their bloody mess and lack of respect for things.
I think my hormones may be a little on the swingy side!0 -
I've had to chase bizziebaby again for an address to send this Nuby to. I sure they don't like me  I'm getting this Tippitoes bouncy chair Now, I'm not complaining but there aren't enough hours in the day for my babes to use 3 chairs
ETA: Do we have a Tanya in Enfield here?0 -
Elle, good news that they have sent you a letter! I called them up a few weeks after and was told over the phone that he had been awarded DLA, so call them. Plus if they do need any more info they can get it there and then. They didn't contact anyone about Christopher, just went by what I had put on the form.
MM, hows Dylan doing?
BCB, heh, I have a few memories of that exact same argument with my DH/family
Did you yell 'just call me Cinder-bloody-ella!' ? That's my motto according to DH... 0 -

yes, at the time it does feel like it's that bad doesn't it and in the cold light of day (and after some well needed sleep) you do sometimes feel a little silly......why does motherhood do these strange things to our homrones and emotions, we need all the help we can get as it is without our bodies turning on us
