Hubby has the Jet. He says the best thing about it is the 'fake call' function. His exact words are 'it gets you away from idiots'!! I tried it but that touchy scrolly screen thing got right on my wick.

I bought the oldest 2 a laptop last year to share, but felt it was justified, as I considered it educational.

I thought my 8 year old wanting a phone was hysterical, hows she going to fund it and whos she going to phone, better still, who's going to phone her!!!!

I dont think its possible to give too many cuddles. D is now ready for potty training and although we leave the potty in the living room, he has never used it. He will be 2 in December and as soon as Christmas is over its going to be the no.1 priority. Im probably leaving it late, but my logic is as long as its done before he's 3 and he goes to nursery.

I don't think you've left it late at all! Chris is 2yrs 9mths and chose to do it himself, he just said thurs last week that he wanted to wear his underpants (we bought them a while back) he's been really good, I'm so proud! I think its gone so well because he chose to start when he was ready.
We got the potty around when he turned 2yrs and used to just sit him on it before his bath so he gt used to it and recently were given a 2nd potty to test so i keep that in the living room and he'd just ask to use it every now n then.

Sami - I like the look of that phone! I want a full report in around 4 months time (when i'm due my new one).

My DD wanted a phone last christmas - apparently she's the only girl in the whole world who hasn't got a phone, and i'm the meanest Mum ever! Not only, who's she going to phone?, who's going to phone her?, but she never goes anywhere away from me - so if she gets the sudden urge to need to phone anyone, she can use mine! :rotfl:

I'm still not sure what she's getting for christmas this year. She's not got anything 'big' on her list - just loads of cheap rubbish!
However, if she carries on the way she has been this week, Santa will be bringing a lump of coal.

I love all of the cute pics from today - i'll change mine in a sec.

Stripping was finished last night - but today, I had a bright idea and told OH to remove the dado rail! It wasn't too bad, but a couple of bits of wall fell off. So tomorrow he's off to Homebase for filler.

Hugs/congrats/yey's to everyone who wants/needs them.
