i had that, the MW said it was like a bruise cos of all the pushing :( are you quite swollen? drink LOTS of water, i mean a stupid amount, cos it will help to flush the swelling away (and your wee will be nice and weak too so wont irritate!) and arnica is good for swelling and bruises too but i'm not sure you can put it on your foof, but i think you can get tablets unless i completely made that up!!

Ok, drinking water now and I have been taking arnica tabs but don't think they have done any good.

Hi Jenny. Congrats on the birth of Erin.

Re the foof pain, I also had a 2nd degree tear and I was told to put witch hazel on the sanitary towel to bring out the bruise and help heal quicker and must admit it did help. I also took paracetemol and ibuprofen at the same time which helped to ease the swelling and keep the pain tolerable. Also make sure to keep it clean, though this is hard when you can't feel anything down there, but don't use soaps or anything smelly.

Didn't actually remember to take the arnica, despite spending £5 on it, so can't tell you if that would help or not.

    Hope it eases up soon.

Thanks Harley, off to add witch hazel to my shopping list. The midwife who stitched me said to take ibuprofen even though I was breastfeeding but everyone else told me not to so in the end I chickened out.

Thanks SM. I know Im not angel, Im lazy too, I don't know why, I start the day with good intentions and never do half the things I say I will. The house is a mess, my furniture is crap but no reason why It shouldn't be clean.....

OH has a point about the smoking, we do struggle a bit and it's my fault.

    Grrrrr.

OH just started a fight with me about my smoking again. Jesus I've cut down from 25 to 10 a day but no that's still not good enough. It's not going to happen overnight, and he says Im spending all the money again because I asked him to go over to lidl to get a cheap bottle of vodka (£7) so I could have a few drinks before going out and pouring some into his hip flask for town - It's £3.50 a nip in town - So if I just drink in town it will cost a LOT more.

The best thing for him to do if he isn't happy with me spending "ALL HIS MONEY" as he says, is leave, and go live with his mum where he can keep all his wage to himself. I told him this but he won't leave.

How can I make a living? When I'm watching Keira all the time? When I have 2 hours when she is at nursery? I don't have a CV, as I asked him to help me weeks ago and he didn't do it. I can only do evening jobs, but really whats the point? I'd spend all evening working, and come home to a pig sty, spend the next day cleaning it for it to be repeated again.

He moans about me, he moans about my cats, he moans about Keira when she interrupts him during his gaming time, and I told him if he shouts at her again for that I'll bloody jump on his ps3, Im not putting up with that. He needs to get his prioritys right.

I am going to go cold turkey with the cigs tomorrow, but if I manage to quit this time, and he is still moaning about money and whatnot afterwards then he is going, I'll phone his mum myself, because I look back on myself before I met him and I was happy, I liked myself, I was normal, fast forward 4 years and what am I? Someone with serious issues, Im unhappy, Im lazy, Im stressed, I hate myself.

Still going out but I'll probably end up crying at some point. Just tired of the aggro in this house, I wish I didn;t have to nag, he doesn't appreciate anything I do. I could clean the house top to bottom, clean the doors and windows etc, and he wouldnt even notice. Seriously.
so you want to spend some cash on ONE night out and a new dress, and smoking which you did before you met him, i bet he spends much more than that on stupid games!

not trying to dishearten you but i wouldnt bother trying to give up tomorrow, cos giving up needs to be something you really want to do for yourself, not to keep someone else happy. when i had no money for food, i'd always still find money for fags!

i hope you have a good night out xxx

ibuprofen is fine :) they only say not to take it in PG cos it thins the blood a little which could be dangerous if you have anything underlying

Hi just thought i'd mention that most councils still class that as noise pollution, it may get to the point you consider that. Call your enviromental health for advice HTH

No he doesn't smoke, he has the mindset of , smoking costs too much - soloution, just quit! Your too fat? Just eat salad! Have an eating disorder? Just don't be sick etc etc

Everything is black and white to him, he's very ignorant of things that he doesn't understand. I said, well your ps3 has ruined our reletionship yet you still won't give it up.

Well I dunno, we cant afford to just go out and splurge I guess, like today in H&M is what set him off because he was picking up hello kitty tops for Keira that cost £12.99 eahc and said OH IF YOU DIDNT SMOKE WE COULD OF JUST BOUGHT THAT, I was like, even if we had loads of money I wouldn't buy that, ITS WHITE! she would have it stained within a day.

We all need new clothes and me stopping smoking will free some money up, but yeah he gets games a lot, he's away to get the new COD game for the ps3 thats about 50 quid when it comes out, he moans he has no clothes. So why does he just NOT get the game and go to tesco? No no that doesn't enter into his head of course.

Like right now we have about £900 left in the bank to last us till he gets paid on the 25th, I don't class that as poor as all the bills have been paid. He does.
