Just had a quick browse back.

Feelie - I hope things get better for you soon I really do. I was going to do a rant about social services but i'm not going to as I dont want to affect any decision you make in the future if things get really bad. We are all here to support you. You have been and continue to be a fantastic mummy to Toby. Please stay strong xx

MFD - Great news about the childminder. My CM has a little boy aged 2 who was really well behaved. When he went to touch Leila the CM immediately told him he mustnt touch her as she is a baby and very tiny. She then knelt down with him and Leila and showed him how to hold her hand gently. She also looks after another boy aged 2.5 for one day a week and when I visited again he was there and she also showed him how to be gentle with Leila. I am due to see her this week to update her about Leila and things she needs to know ready for when I go back to work next week. She sent me an e-mail saying she will look after Leila the way that I do and she would be just as sad as I am to be leaving her to go back to work and she understands how hard it is. I know I made the right decision about her, so feel very relieved about it.

Cant remember what else I had to say. Just making salmon fillets and potato wedges for dinner. Its hardly gourmet but atleast I am cooking in the oven these days which is a step in the right direction!!

I feel like making bread, properly making it I mean, so I can pound the crap out of it! May make scones instead as a surprise for DH.

Going to try putting Amber to bed after her next bottle, bed like, upstairs without me.

:rotfl: I was asking about Taybarns because it just seemed like a funny concept to me - just can't imagine fancying a roast dinner and a chinese in the same meal (although I can see how it would suit a whole family with different tastes).. I've just been Googl'ing local restaurants and it turns out a place in the town centre that I thought was still a Wetherspoons pub has been turned into something like Taybarns! (called Mr Jones'). Been like that for almost a year.. how out of touch am I?! Might have to give it a go.. :)

I think it'd be fine taste-wise, but if your house is a bit warm I'd be worried about meat being out of the fridge overnight. What about cooking overnght on low, cooling in the morning then fridging til needed?

Searching I sometimes chop everything up ready and keep it in a tub and then just tip that into the SC in the morning.

Off to do the dishes, photo stuff for ebay and maybe treat myself to ice cream if lil miss hasn't woken by then. 8pm, stargate universe :D (Robert Carlyle - I so would :D)
