Can you retract and then put in a really small amount?Accept that some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue.0

I retracted and the reserve isnt met, so my bid is still there but it wont sell as the resevre was something like £140. and guess what? Ive messed up again, I now understand why people dont like dealing with newbies, i always thought I wont mess up, now i look like a right old fool. I just got a pay dispute from someone, i bought a scart lead and the total was only £2.99, I also kept the seller informed about my paypal situation nearly everyday, he/she then goes and makes a dispute. I messeged the seller back saying sorry for the delay and that he/she should have made contact with me, all this time the seller never once contacted me.
Thanks for the advice, I wont be bidding on multiple items again. Learnt my lesson.

Sounds to me like you bid..won and haven't paid??? If so, then the buyer has every right to neg you and raise a dispute.
What issues do you have with Paypal that affect your seller?

damn that was poorly written. I even admitted it!
What happened was that I bidded for an item which I won, my method of payment was Paypal, however, paypal never sent me the deposits which I need to verify my account and they took about 20 days to do that. In the meantime the seller opened a dispute even though I made contact with him and informed him about the situation, I even got other buyers who understand my situation and they said I can take as long as I want.
Anyways, I've paid everyone and they have all made contact saying money was received, finally I received the deposits from Paypal. If they were to take even longer I could have lost the eBay account because of PAYPAL.0 -
To be fair though, you really shouldn't have bid on anything if your paypal wasn't working.Accept that some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue.0

yeah that true. But I bidded for the item whilst paypal was showing 'deposits sent', I then go to the bank and nothing was there, so, the process had to be repeated. I thought my paypal account would be verified on time, hence, the reason why i bidded.
It doesnt matter now, I've paid all the sellers and they are all happy, just this one guy opened a dispute, but his happy now as well.0
