i got this in a letter and i quote "we'll guarantee that if you book now for 2010, you won't find a better deal nearer the time (if you should find it cheaper'simply let us know and we'll refund the diffrence)" there is also no small print or t&c for this.

Thank you, sounds like a good deal if you remember to check periodically. When checking it is also worth ringing central reservations, as they sometimes have offer codes that are not available online. ;)
    Gone ... or have I?

I am not replying to you again, because you clearly do not understand what I am saying.

You booked for this October and you were offered 50% off the full price. The price quoted for next October IS NOT 50% OFF. To compare like for like, you need to compare the full price, without any discounts. You are not doing this.

Is it really that difficult to understand?
Ok the full brochure price before discounts booking 2008 for this year is £679,the full brochure price for same time in 2010 is £1180.90 an increase of £501.90.THESE ARE THE FULL PRICES WITHOUT ANY DISCOUNTS!!!!!

This offer has been on the website for awhile, I booked a few weeks ago for the last week of March which is the start of the Easter hols at my school. I am paying £331 for deluxe half board.

I am also going in a few weeks during Oct half term which I booked through the sun off and it cost £130 including upgrade to silver self catering.

Haven is ok in good weather if you get a nice van, but the facilities for children are better at Butlins particularly in poor weather. You can also get some great last minute deals with Butlins.

The offer on the website was 'up to half price' and there were very few half price ones on there, this offer guarentees you half price on ANY holiday as long as it's standard or silver apartment. To get this offer, you have to go through the link in the original post. But our letter does say it's a heads up for people who have been before.

Oh, and we are paying the same price for next year that we paid for this years easter, so to me, it's a good deal ;D

    Blimey are Butlitz still going?

I'd rather spend a week sticking red-hot pins in my eyes.

    :rotfl:

Yes they are still going strong.

Very popular with chavs and single parent families I believe.

PS Butlins is better than Haven.

Why don't you keep your comments to yourself! I for one, am not a "chav" or a single parent family not that it matters if I was esp to your judgemental last referral.

I am just a normal parent who's quite happy to go somewhere the kids are entertained, the weather does not matter, we can do a load of things together as a family, have a couple of drinks in the evening with no worries and just have a bit of a break.

If you've nothing nice or helpful to say, then why not shut up as deanos put it................"idiot" :D

No chav or single parent here either, but that doesn't stop my daughter loving it, lol.
