I'm thinking of signing up to Pipex Broadband. I see you can buy further usage each month if you go over your allowance. Is there a way to see how much you have used each month on your account like in MadasFish. The help section isn't very helpful.
Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I guess so but it strikes me it's quite a basic thing to have included in an allocated download account. Email bounced back and can't get through on phone. Seems a good package but something's telling me to give it a miss. On dial up wanndaoo at the moment, may wait for Orange but would like to get it sorted quickly. Decisions, decisions.0

If you don't know what your usage is now, how can you choose an appropriate package?
Download this small application call Netmeter which will provide all the information that you require. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
Er thanks. I'm on dial up anytime at the moment so it's a bit of a guess as to what I'd use but they do have an option where you can estimate what you would use. I don't think I need anymore than 1gb. Cheers for the download.0

No, it gives Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports for Upload, Download and Upload + Download Total, as well as Projected Daily, Weekly and Monthly figures based on current usage. There is also a Totals cumulative report page and it can be configured to suit the users prefernces.
Give it a try as it's only a 600kb download!
