Afternoon all, what a lovely afternoon it is here :j
I have done today:
checked online banking
posted test letters
went to Tescos to get a bit of shopping, boyfriend paid the £19
had lunch at home using 40p baquettes and eggs that need using.
Boyfriend making dinner at home tonight
Still have to do:
put washing in and hang to dry rather than use tumble dryer
wait for valuation
go to dance class with money found in car
No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!
Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T0 -
Afternoon everyone.
It is definitely colder and wetter today
I have finally recovered from all of the rushing about I have done this past week. Saved a bomb doing all the stuff for DD's 18th ourselves, but I was completely kn****ckered yesterday.
So today I thought I would take it easy, so I have been trying to work out how to install the range extender for our wireless network, still not quite got it. I am either an idiot or the instructions are rubbish......:rotfl:
Today I have
Done some washing, but it is raining, so may put in tumble dryer on economy 7 overnight.
Read Electricity Meter
Bank cheque for very overdue payment for business
Find jumper and socks as I feel very cold.
Work Plan for this week and next week
Meal Planner
Week Planner for DS's courses etc, so we don't double book him again.
I will read my only magazine I get everymonth from cover to cover.
Will rush round and tidy bits up so house looks tidy when dh comes home; then he wont think I have been slobbing on computer all day:D
I will sort through massive bag of spuds, from dh work, freebies some great bakers in there
Well off to make tea and tidy for five minutes. My finances are work in progress.Normal veiwing will resume shortly0 -

I guess that good thing with being in work all day is that you don't really have much chance to spend money. I paid £1.05 for a sandwich and 50p for orange juice, both from Tesco, and that's about it!
If I'd made my own lunch... wow, the possibilities...

Hi all, I finally heard back about the job I applied for the other week - the post has just been cut so they are not recruiting !!! So a very lucky escape there, phew! Although I wish I hadn't spent so long tearing my hair out over the application form, now.

I have however been offered a few more hours at work, which will add up to an extra £150ish a month, and can fit round T and school. :j
Today I
1) Went to work
2) Free lunch at meeting
3) Cadged a lift to the meeting to avoid paying fuel and parking
4) LSD - 45p on a paper
5) Checked bank, quidco etc
6) B has a friend round for tea, so a cheap dinner of HM macaroni cheese tonight.
7)Renewed library books
8) Hokey cokey
Right, off to cook dinner then administer to my little man when he wakes up. He was taken poorly at school and has been asleep since he got in, bless him. I think an evening clearing up sick is on the horizon.
You have a good evening, L x0
