Advice needed: Unblocking 18866

Hi, not sure if anyone has had this problem, but we have a 18866 account that has been blocked as the card we paid on was reported stolen. Since then, a direct payment has been made but over five days ago, the account is still blocked. It may just be because of Christmas and New Year etc, but does anyone have any advice? I have emailed them but not got a reply from a few days ago. Thanks to anyone who can help!

I don't know if this will work, but I'd suggest you try removing the phone number from the 18866 account that has been blocked. Then try setting up a new 18866 account on the same phone number.
    :p
  • Or open a new account with a mobile number and once it is opened then add the old phone number?

thanks for this, unfortunately i have tried to set up a new account and this has not worked. it was a genuine mistake - we had a card stopped as it was lost and then went away for a few weeks on holiday. when we returned, i set up a new account with the new credit card and assumed they would colect outstanding payments, as they did not, i made a direct payment over the internet, but the account is still blocked. i have a lot of time for 18866 (so far a very long time!) so i am not having a go at them, it is very frustrating though as we have tried to do everything right!

Hi there. This has just happened to us. I lost my card and so my new card had different details. I gave 18866 my new card details but they have blocked access to 18866. I have emailed them but not heard back yet.

I don't suppose anyone actually has a contact number for them?
