Can someone explain to me when the funding starts.

My son was 3 in Nov 2008, but the funding at nursery did not start till April 2009.

I thought the 'term following the 3rd birthday' would be January? Have I got it wrong or have the nursery?

I do know that where we are in London we get £610 per term, per child.

I believe it should have begun in January 09 too, I know the early years have some funny cut off dates but the 3 November is quite a long way off the end of the autumn term. Their cut off dates dont necessarily follow term dates  sounds silly i know. Did you sign one of the grant forms in January??
  • Thanks Skippy.

Can't remember any forms to be honest.

    I will query with nursery.
