Faulty Renault dashboard - do I have any rights?

  • Not sure why the OP is getting so much stick.

There are plenty of parts in a car that I think might fail within 6 years but not the dashboard! Also not sure why the same people given the stick some how justify it by saying it has done almost 100k miles - I can't see wear and tear being a big issue!

The bottom line is that Renault have previously accepted it is a problem, it is clear that it is a major issue and therefore I don't think it is unreasonable to expect them to pay (at least) half towards sorting it.

The speedo does have to work on any car, by law, TUV or whatever else covers it now, however it is not required to be tested at MOT time:confused:

Too late now but the scrappy dash would have been the best option, however they cotton on to all recurrent faults and don't sell renault dashes for £20;)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed
