payed off £63 from cc again today, its slowly going down :)

however insurance is up for renewal on th 9th :( £558

renewal came through at £20 more than last year

phoned around and cheapest i can get is £430

So need to try and find the money in the next 2 weeks or will have to put it on the cc and just pay off as much as possibile :( only going to have next weeks wage before then, have 10 hrs overtime just now so maybe try and get another few in before wed and we might manage to scrape by with out the cc

    Hi AJ

Have you checked out whether you can earn cashback on your new insurance policy? Always worth factoring that in. Also did you read through Martins article on all the little tips that can make small differences to your quote?

Your signature totals are coming down nicely. Well done

yeah tried all the different things, RAC was 376 on comparison site but once you went in it went up to£470ish without legal cover or coutrtesy car iirc

quote i have is through Kris Knott, heard of them on vectra c forum, quote includes courtesy car and legal cover etc

i will double check if a can get cash back from them

any other ones i could get cash back from were no where near reasonable quotes :(

i thought now being 25 with no claims or points in the last 3 years with 2 ncb would help get it down but apparently not
