could not multi quote (could someone please explain how to)

in answer to your question, here is a clue :j:beer::j:beer:

in case you didn't get it, yes she got it, got told there and then awating conformation of hours etc

anyhow back to tips it went exactly as described above
    (thanks again to original poster)
I also did a search on this site for M&S interview etc as well as Google
basiclly all the advice was the same

    one tip we got was
at the end they will probably ask you where to go to pay etc
"Do not point over there etc" as advised the wife offered to take them, she even offered to help carry the shopping, this went down very, very well she was told

as advised to when they come in requesting food for a buffet etc don't forget to think of others (drivers & veggies etc)

    good luck
  • About to start process of applying to places like M&S but trying to get something for weekend / evening work.

Can anyone advise on flexibility of M&S with alloting hrs? Someone commented above they asked what hours you would like to do.
If only I could stop finding good bargains on this site, I would save a fortune! :rotfl:

can I ask what happened, starting to panic now

after reading 1 or 2 things (about going on a waiting list etc)

was told there and then she was successful and would hear by the end of the following week, still not heard nothing
and since this has been other opportunities at other stores which I can't seem to apply for

Same as above posts. was a role play when the interviewer was the customer assistant. She was given cards as well explaining about the product.

They were in one sense trying to make her panic. The way she was sat was that her back was against the door. People kept on coming into the room. The interviewer even came in once and said iv come in for something else.

She then all of a sudden from behind started talking, didnt even say excuse me or hi so she wasnt sure she was talking to her so that took her back abit. Plus she was only give exactly 5 min so wasnt fully prepared.

So all this combined 5min, from behind and all of a sudden went against her.

She was told after 15 min end of of role play she wasnt successful.

As you havnt heard id advise you ring back and ask. Say you are awaiting their reply and you have applied elsewhere so you understand where you stand

I have an interview coming up with Marks and Sparks and its actually my verst first job interview. My friend recently had one and failed the role play so I have been researching all about it.

As fas as I know you are given cards on with products and you get 5 minutes to prepare. I was just wondering as noone has mentioned, do you need to memorise these cards or can you use them during the role play, also are you only allowed to use each card once? some people have said it in such a way that i get the opinion you can only use them once

    Thanks!!!
