    Yeah, I don't think we'll find out which campus he'll be at until he goes to orientation sometime in early September. So, I guess we're better off looking as centrally as possible.

    The main neighbourhoods I've seen advertised are Penarth, Roath, Cathays and (LOL) Splott. Though I have some reservations about living in an area called "Splott" haha. Any opinions on these areas?

    Penarth is quite "up market" and about a ten minute bus ride away from Cardiff. Roath and Cathays are "student" areas and Cathays is walking distance to the City Centre, whilst Splott (laughingly called Sploe) by te locals is very close to the centre but a bit downmarket. Don't forget you must develop a "Kaaaaaaaaaaaardiff accent when you live here, and sample the local delicacies, ie Brains beer and a Clarks Pie!:rotfl::rotfl:
