My day has started well

Ebay people do my head in. I sold some brand new reusable nappies. They are brand new right out of the packet. I sent them yesterday. This morning I get an email before 8am saying that the nappies had stains on them  but the woman has washed and dried them and they are still stained.

Her posty must come early  my washing machine takes at least an hour. I offered her a refund.

Did you send them recorded delivery Toto? Seems very early to have them delivered already, maybe she is pulling a fast one. Ive had 1 nearly identical this week. Brand new in box perfect condition baby carrier, woman emailed to say box was all ripped and carrier was faded. What do you do? Ive said it was brand new and I wouldn't have sold something that wasn't as it was described, she is going to leave bad feedback unless I refund her some of the money  I know she is lying but have no proof.

I would be tempted to say to your lady you will offer her a partial refund as now she has washed them you will be unable to sell them as new. I mean its her word against yours, she is just as likely to be lying as you could IYSWIM

  • Morning all! Hope everyone's well. Great news about the docs Luc! I've got a variety of things to do today so about to compile a to do list. Funny how writing a list takes greater priority over actually DOING the stuff on the list...
Quiet one today.. my first day off with Ash being at school all day

Oh and possibly some exciting developments at work... but not 100% confirmed yet....

I did send them recorded. I know she is lying too, the ones I sent her were still in the packaging from mothercare. I've offered her a partial refund. No doubt if she did return them they wouldn't be the ones I sold her. It's funny, I never used to get this happen until the rules came in where sellers can't leave negative feedback.

Have you tracked the parcel? If it hasn't arrived you know she is lying and can proved it? I mean how can she have received them and washed them by 8am!
