When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important :D

Good morning everyone....smiliewave.gif

Welcome to any new posters....come and join us;)

Not a very eventful day for me - work and later go pick up 2 daughters from different places at the same time:rolleyes: Typical! So eldest will have to wait 10mins while I grab DD2 and scoot to get her:rotfl:

I shall nip to Tesco while they're both at their activities, not much to buy though.

And for any of you who missed it......the purple laptop of shiny loveliness arrived yesterday:j It's beeyoooooooootiful!

Here's my list:
  • check banking - not bad!
  • daily scratchies - can withdraw £15 now, due to my lovely £5 win on Sun:p
  • packed lunches to work
  • walk to work
  • heating off
  • washing on 40 later - hopefully ready for a sunny day tomorrow
  • meal from stores - leftover meatballs for DD1, sausgaes+oven chips DD2...me, anything I can find:rolleyes:
  • Sparkle like madHSstars.gif
  • (try not to worry about going to uni tomorrow:o - thank you for the kind messages of encouragement!)
That's my lot...must get my face on now:DHSlostmind.gif
I really need to sort out a new signature!

    Morning all -
I've got a stinking cold so I'm hoping to keep it simple today.

*Have a NSD today like yesterday
*Set up mortgage overpayments to start next month
*Make paneer and peas curry in the slow cooker
*Find a recipe for veggie nut loaf/roast (I bought 8 cans of chestnut puree for 5p a tin so I'm wondering how I can incorporate it in with the loaf).

    Have a good all
    Love Sassers x
