I have been listing on there since it started and never had any problems with payment. The only problem is lack of buyers, there are plenty of sellers on there but rather lacking in buying. I am lucky if I sell one item every six months or so. Stick with Ebay I know they are expensive but at least they have the market.

I joined as I was producing a wide variety of hand made goods.
I could showcase them on ebid but they always sold better on ebay.
If I had enquiries I would direct the customers to ebid, but they would often not want to register and usually asked me to sell direct.
I don't make them any more but still use my account for a kind of 'holding' account for items I intend to put on the next ebay free listing day!
Once in a blue moon I sell something via ebid but then there's not really much on there now.
When i had 40 or 50 items listed i would sell about once a month!

eBid is fine - I get steady sales from my listings there [as stated many times on main eBid thread]

You have to work at it yourself a bit more - but that's no problem with the built in Facebook and Twitter links.

Any problems - just ask in the Forums :D

    NO!

These are not to be trusted! They say one thing and do the other, apparently there is a limit, but you can go over this look what happened to me:

I bought a camera off ebid but the guy changed his mind after i paid, he rejected the money of pppay.com and i had to pay the transaction fee of £21! Then they would not let me withdraw the money as i was in a limited account! (according to the site it should have stopped me for spending that much) So i cant withdraw my money, plus i have to pay a withdrawal fee of £14 over 14 days!)

Don't go anywhere near ebid or PPPay.com. The customer service is rubbish and they don't give a dam. Currently awaiting another response that's not copied and pasted before i report them to FSA.

you have been resurrecting several old threads and writing the same message about PPPay and ebid.
If you have a problem it's much more useful if you open your own thread to discuss, rather than posting the same message on old threads.

i thought ebid offered other payment services

I have accepted chocolate for payment on eBid...but only people who live nearby have taken me up on it
    January 1st 2013 starting weight 123 kg
    August 1st 2013 weight 110kg
    Total weight loss 13kg
    Goal weight 100kg by December 31st 2013
  • eBid is cheap (2% fees) compared to eBay but not working for seller:
Traffic for buyers is about 1% compared to eBay or other market place.
Customer services is practically zero: no responses to your email, no phone support. If you have problem, issue, you are on your own. Well, eBid has FAQs and forum but not very helpful with difficult issue!
Recently, eBid ...trying to be Police and ask you to supply Passport, Driving Licence, your sensitive business information, if you don't give them, you are kicked out the market, paid member or not. The irony is that eBid does not set an example for anyone: eBid does not even give you a phone number to talk to!! How openness is that?

I am saying bye to eBid after a year of hard effort and money spent.
