ahhh my bread didn't work, it only rose about an inch, and as soon as it got above the side of the tin bits started to fall off!!! I seriously have no idea what I'm doing wrong, will have one more go with the Jamie recipe but I can't take any more of it going wrong!!! very annoying!!!!

hmmm been thinking about bills and trying to keep those down, OH does my head in as he leaves everything on standby. 2 tvs we have 3 of those digital phones that are always charging, his laptop is always charging etc etc. does anyone know, how much electricity these use so that I can scare him into switching things off. Or does anyone know where I can get one of those energy monitors for free, think it would be really interesting to find out how much electric he's just wasting!! ;)

crikey I sound like a right mean witch don't I?!:rotfl: It's just really frustrating when I'm trying so hard and he's not:confused:

am feeling particularly horrid and unglamorous today. Have been for the past few weeks really, think it's because I still need to shift this weight, my tan has gone and I need to dye my hair, oh and my finger nails are like stumps at the moment...... Alot of it is down to work and not having enough hours in the day to do anything and comfort eating the free biscuits...... really need to sort myself out. Am really worried that OH will go off me..... well I'm not really worried but you know what I mean... I'd hate to think he didnt fancy me anymore because I'm no where near as glam as when I first met him. Feeling quite sad now actually...... That's what you get for spending all day by yourself, you end up thinking too much!! x

Missy, are you using lukewarm water for the bread? And plenty of yeast - I use three sachets for two loaves. Beyond that I have no idea...maybe post on the old style board?

Sorry to hear you are feeling a bit down (hugs) x
