Hi Missymoo,
I had a mad idea today about paying off debt and thought that I must tell Missymoo!:D.
Instead of looking at your debt as loads of fugures, do the following:
Get some graph paper and draw a picture of something you like, like a cake (yum yum) with each square representing £1, £5, £10 or whatever. Then, when you pay off another £1 / £5 / £10, colour in a square. This way, you can see yourself getting nearer your goal and then go out and buy a real cake when the debt cake is gone...
Yes, I know it's mad but I think it would help people visualise their debt and the progress made not what has yetto be done, i.e. turning a negative into a positive :T
Do I need to get out more? :rotfl:DFW'er - Lightbulb moment : 31st July 2009 - £18,499

I think that's a fab idea :j I think a few people use a 'colouring in squares' system of sorts
