aww good glad I can motivate someone, having trouble motivating myself most of the time though.
I have to admit, I am quite scared about attempting to cook all of this... I have never done anything like this before...... eeeeeek think I might go and hide under the duvet until monday.......

sorry missed your post wbdf. Nor should you feel bad about spending money on yourself, sometimes you need the extra incentive to keep you going. I love pens and stationery I really NEED a new notebook that I'm not buying!
Well have made chillie and am in the middle of making shepherds pie and minced beef and onion pie, have bol mix in the slow cooker.... still need to make beef burgers, fish cakes, fish pie and chicken pie..... phew I'm exhausted already!!! x0 -

Hi Missy,
Wow, you are doing really well today! I made flapjacks and curry this morning and felt pleased with myself for doing that, your cooking frenzy is impressive.
Sorry to hear you are struggling for motivation, I suppose all you can try and think is that if you have a nice packed full freezer then when OH comes home you can chill out and spend time with him rather than having to cook/shop.
Hope the food turns out well...what are you going to have for dinner with so much choice? xxLBM 17th August 2009 Debt at LBM £18,612 Proud to be dealing with my debts.0 -
Hey katy, lovely to hear from you.... everything is just cooling waiting to go in the freezer, I hope it will fit.... am having one of those rare emotional afternoons where everything seems horrid and too much effort!!!! No idea why, oh apart from have come off the pill in prep for baby making next year, might be my hormones!!!!!
I have spent the whole day cooking and have just stuffed my face with whatever I have fancied including about 8 biscuits and atleast 4 kitkats!!! so I don't even fancy any tea!! The kitchen looks like a bomb has hit it so I have hidden myself away in the lounge with a cuppa and my blankie so I can pretend the mess isn't there!!!0 -
Ah yes, the if-the-door-is-shut-the-mess-isn't-there trick, I am very familiar with this. It also works well with washing, ironing and big piles of paper at work.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, everybody needs a cup of tea and kit kat splurge on the settee, especially when you're a bit hormonal. You should put a good film on and camp out there for the rest of the afternoon.
Wish I could - I need to go out and cut the grass. Brrr, it's cold out there! xxLBM 17th August 2009 Debt at LBM £18,612 Proud to be dealing with my debts.0 -
