Lets see its at least 6 months ago when I started warning about that interest rates are going higher, despite what the consensus has been saying and implying that the rates will go lower :whistle:
The UK WILL follow suit... though not yet
if I had to guess when ? Earliest would be July, but more probably in Sept / Oct 06.
Hence not to fix your bonds... wait a while, we will have another oppotunity like September 2004 !!! A window of opportunity to fix at great rates for several years !0 -
Had an email from Leeds & Holbeck today INCREASING the interest rate on their online saver account from 4.8% to 5%. Dunno if this the first cuckoo or a very late April Fools...
Still, a refreshing change from the usual "we know rates haven't moved for months, but we need you to subsidise our market-leading mortgage rates".0
