Potatoes by the sack

I've never seen them that cheap. I always buy them by the sack in winter and our farm shop charges £7.50 for a large bag.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

You can do the same with sacks of onions as well. £1.50 - £2.50 a sack, also an many ethnic food stores.0

My dad bought a sack last week, paid about £5 and we split it between us. He didn't buy them from a farm shop as such, just a working farm that had a board outside. Will do the same again in a few weeks, it works out so much cheaper than the supermarket.0

Anyone know of such a place on the outskirts of south Bristol?“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

If its closer to Weston then its a bit far. Thanks though, I'm sure there must be somewhere closer“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

Our local F & V shop delivers 50kg sacks, price depends on variety, they may be a little more expensive than quoted above but they're cheaper than paying per lb.The only thing that is constant is change.0
