I
After collecting if from the dry cleaners i inspected all the beading which hadn't been damaged however didn't try the dress on until the morning of the wedding on 19th. By then it was too late, the hem of the dress had risen by over an inch to two inchs and now the slip under neath showed underneath the tunic dress. I had no alternative but to wear the dress to the wedding even though it had quite clearly shrunk.
MHi,
Haven't been on for ages but I just logged on to search for the same problem. I have just washed my monsoon dress at 30 degrees (label says 40) and it has shrunk about 4 inches above the lining!
Interestingly I washed this with a next signature silk top which is handwashable at 30 and this is intact.
What I am saying is give monsoon a call - it may not be the drycleaners fault but perhaps a faulty made dress.
I wonder if you both have the same dress, perhaps a description or a pic would be helpful for both of youAccept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

I know something more shocking than that. I know a man who went to work yesterday, and went to work again today, and wore the exact same suit both days!!!0 -
