Just about to buy an iphone

I just don't know whether to buy the o2 cover at £10 a month. Seems a bit excessive but knowing my luck it will probably get stolen if I don't buy it.

Are things like mobiles covered on house insurance?

enquired to churchill who insure my house/contents and it wil only cost another £26 for the year ,prehaps less when my renawal comesthrough


went through a few questions and it seems ok will pay out from theft ,damage etc only thing he advised me is to lower my excess from £200 to the normal which is £75 and it might be a tenner max on my premium so looks the best way rather then £120 to cpw/02 etc

Check whether it also covers any calls made following loss or theft. People have had £100s run up on their bills and I believe house insurance does not cover it.

My Bank Account includes mobile phone insurance.

Have you checked yours? A lot of accounts now offer lots of different things like Holiday insurance, breakdown cover, emergency cover, etc.

Maybe you are covered but don't realise it.
