Serious dress help!

Hey girlies, I need some serious bridesmaid dress help. Has taken me 9 months to get HTB to decide on his cravat colour so I could tie dresses in. We have 8 weeks to go and I need to order dresses asap. I absolutely love hot pink/fuschia colour and have seen one on ebay but I think it will be too much with my dress.

Pink dress
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280398160998&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT I think it will be too much even without a hoop, what do you all think?

The other option is to go for purple.

I have looked everywhere nad there are hardly any long dark pink dresses, I don't really like other shades of pink. I don't want to spene anymore than about £70 on each dress, i did think of landy or somewhere but haven't got time to order them in.

Which do you think looks better with my dress? Please be honest.

Sorry I don't usually post much on here but your dress is lovely, and personally that purple bridesmaid dress on ebay is adorable, sophisticated yet fun.

Personally I think the pink dresses would be a little too much. Remember you want all eyes on YOU!

The purple dresses are really nice. I would be more than happy wearing one of those as a bridesmaid!

Your dress is stunning, by the way. It looks really good on you!

Depending on their ages I'd go for something short and sassy.
  • OMG - your dress is AMAZING - what is it!?!??!?

As for the options definately prefer the purple. The pink ones are a little bit OTT. Gorgeous, and I love the colour but the design on the purple is more bridesmaidy

My thought is the purple dress. The pink is too much.

I think your dress is stunning!
Just to win anything would be great!!
  • the purple dress is much nicer

have you tried contacting the seller and seeing if its available in pink? they might make the dresses in which case they will probably be willing to do any colour :)

i found the dress for my bridesmaids on ebay but it was the wrong colour, i dropped them an email and found out the make the dresses so they will do any colour, they sent me swatches to pick from and are now making them for me :)

It's Alfred Angelo 1136. It was the first dress I saw and totally fell in love with it, tried so many on but came back to the same one. LOL.

Have asked about a cerise/hot pink in the purple dress IYKWIM and they son't do it. HAve spent hours trawling the shops and the internet in hope to find something. Have seen some gorgeous short pink ones but one of my bridesmaids is little nad dumpy with massive legs and ankles so I don't think I can be cruel and make her wear one LOL

You could always have 2 slightly different styles short for some, long for the other. As long as the colours are the same. Sometimes it can add interset rather than the "set" look that many go for.
Kelsey Rose http://www.kelseyrose.co.uk/Collection.html has a great selection and all their colours will be the same so chosing 2 styles in the same colour should be a breeze.
