    Libbyjade,

I have just done a check on Sol Melia's web site
    for 2 adults + 2 kids (age 1 &3)
the price came back at 3129.22
this was for the last 2 weeks in July 2010 (the same time we will probaly go again)
but I won't pay that much I can assure you on that

the price for kids compared to adults is about a third of the adult price
from memory when we upgraded from H/B to A/I we paid an extra 13 euro's a day for our daughter (age 10/11)

don't forget sign up to sol melia's email and they will send you there emails with the offers on

any problems with sol melia's site, just ring the UK freephone for advice
  • Thanks everyone for the helpful advice.

I note Thomas Cook only offer prices up till May 10 so I cannot see any prices from them yet.

I have signed up to Sol Melia's website as well, so will see what develops over the coming weeks/months.

    Libbyjade,

    one final point (I promise)

have you considered going for 10/11 days
again thats the beauty of DIY, this year we went for 11 nights
that was ideal, usually people say 14 nights is to long

you can usually get really cheap flights this way, fly out on the Sun/Mon and return mid week, usually works out a lot cheaper than flying Fri/Sat

might just see you there, the last 2 weeks (give or take a day or 2) in July 2010.

    you'll owe me a pint
  • good point, again it's something I'll consider. (appreciate your points)

I'll treat you to a free local cocktail if I go all inclusive!! :D

Forgot to mention I'm a blue (well I didn't forget, I thought you might give me dodgy advice if I admitted it straight away) so I'll let you buy me one !;)

    Thanks
