I have a big house with 5 bedrooms and 3 reception rooms which have all been cabled the satellite cable!!!

The bedrooms can wait as my children are still small (3 & 2) but it does no harm to plan ahead!!

I know very little about Sky+ boxes, but if you are looking to buy standard boxes I would recommend Pace: DS430N, 2600 (2600C1) and newer Pace models.

Older Grundig/Thomson are susceptible to PSU failure, so avoid.

I have got my freesat for sky working and have got a new Sky Viewing Card!!

I am now wondering, I have a mate who has cable in his house but he has no subscrition to anything. He recently got a dreamweaver multimedia box with an image on it and he now recieves all Sky channels free with no subscrition charges.

Has any done this on freesat for sky?
