All I ask is the chance to prove that money can't make me happy.

there is one thing that bugs me with MS Money, when you pay a cheque to yourself (or a Standing Order) this both shows up as an expence and a income. Also becuse therse are not instant clearing the graphs have losts of dips in.

It would also be nice if it could work out a apoximat amount of intrest on an acount

I get around that by using the 'transfer' type of entry. Ok - it doesn't give you the right dates, but I ensure the transfer is recorded as having left on the right day and put up with the discrepancy. Personally - I'd like to be able to say "transfer to account x - it will take x working days". But you can't have everything.

But by using the transfer - it means you don't see expense/income changes, and it also doesn't affect the graphs.

I don't know which version you are using - but in Money 2004 - if you go to the cashflow forecast screen and select 'customise' - you can ask it to approximate interest on the accounts (it's a checkbox right near the bottom of that screen).
