He was drilling into metal...but then again as stated previously it is a heavy duty drill intened for heavy "stuff".
Going to take it back today and see if there are any left for a change.

Gutted - just been to Asda Sheffield and there weren't any left!

If anyone in the W. Midlands sees any then if they get me one i'll gladly drive over and collect it!

Burgh Heath - just south of Sutton - had quite a quite a few on Thursday evening as posted above but I don't know how many would be left now. They're up quite high so with any luck not many people will have spotted them.

Got one earlier today for £15.57 !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went through till at £19.95
Handed in coupons worth £2
Paid £17.95 on EGG credit card (will get back 1% so 18p to be returrned)
That makes £17.77
However reduced price on box said £19.75 (scanned at £19.95) so off to CS for my 20p back
20p refunded so £17.57
And guess what?
ASDA (as I expected) gave me a £2 gift card for my inconvenince.

£15.57 = TOP RESULT !!!

Yeah I thought it probably was the motor bedding in - i've got a cordless that does similar when it comes to a stop (seems the motor is stuck in reverse to give it an instant stop - seems a bit daft to me) so I was not unduly worried - although it is quite bright

Seems like a beast of a drill, have not put it through anything heavy duty yet tho.
