Black and Decker hammer drill - free laser - £20 at ASDA

Options
I was looking at the black and decker laser levels in ASDA for £24.99. Next to them was a hammer drill, reduced from £69.99 to £39.99 with the same laser FREE (attached into the handle). Underneath the price was again reduced to £19.99!!! So, you get a laser and a drill cheaper than the laser...So I bought one!!! Did I need it...well...Probably not - 2 drills now - but it is a good, powerful drill - so convinced myself!!

Its fab!

Which branch was this in? On the market for a drill myself at the minute.

Was it one of their larger stores?

I bought one this afternoon from my local Asda . It was at the bottom of the display stand , on top was about 30 Laser levels @ £25 , the drill was £19.95 with the laser level built into the handle !
    Cheers OP

I went to three branches today but was no sign of them. Before you ask, they are all on my route home from work - I'm not THAT desperate!

These were on a dedicated Black & Decker stand , NOT the shelves .

Thanks for the tip - those of you that did manage to find them, which branches were they in and where abouts were they hidden? I was looking in the DIY aisle they have...

Just been into my local Asda (Burgh Heath) and there were 8 or 9 left on the top shelf above the lightbulbs.

Ummed and ahhed about getting one for myself but I already have two drills (plus one of my dad's on loan) :D .

Selling for £35-£40 on eBay so definitely a bargain. Obviously corded at this price point but not too heavy, comes in its own case. The laser level is described as intgrated but it looks as though that means it just stores in the drill when not in use. Otherwise, the laser looks identical to the £24.95 ones as noted by the OP.

The drills had a store label dated Nov 05, probably hoping for the Christmas market but now just to shift them.
