    Thank you all .. xxx

The ironic part is his older brother is a signalman .. one of the first into Basra.. several tours of Iraq and Afghanistan so he was the one everyone was worried about.. then this happens at home.. crazy life!! My mother and I had just been talking about him a couple of days ago as well which we rarely do!

Anyway.. I did put the list up last night.. about half nine.. and it was nnot there this morning for some bizarre reason.. so .. it is there now.. it is blue... Promise.

Beasts dumped back at school and I am off to tesco shortly.. we have next to nothing in the cupboards..

Off to disguise my eczema with as much make up as I can.. I look like I have the plague!! lol. and I need to construct a shopping list... and strangle some cats.. I have at least 3 yowling !!

I've lost my momentum, I've sat here at the pc other than bringing in and folding the washing, oh and I did some filing and put 2 repairs into the council... but CBA now to do any hoovering. Might do some more pc related jobs ie: pay 2 bills online, they have to be done so may aswell do them now instead of wasting time flitting between forums.

Still have to make a sarnie and get ready for work, and find the house key and clean the cloak toilet - need to do that now cause the council are coming to fix the toilet handle tomorrow lol
  • I am getting of fby rear end and going to do SOMETHING other than waste time playing bloomin games!!!!!
  • Have hoovered throgh downstairs, now will do HHI at 10:40, leaving me time for a cuppa before work.......

Pigpen – massive hugs to you and your family xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Fedupandskint – oooohhhhhh! A possible three yes’s to my survey…..we all know the answer then!!! Keep us updated – awwww a little muttlie might be about to find his/her’s forever home.
Holly – fab weight loss….well done!!!
Rosepink – I’m the same as you. When we first got this house I did as little as possible - possibly because my dad did nothing at home and mum was an unpaid skivvy in effect. I was determined my hubby was going to do as much or more than me so I did very little. Now, thanks to this thread, I actually enjoy having a tidy and clean house (or is it I’m just scared of pigpoo, soappie and tootles!!). Anyway….glad you feel you’re getting on top of it all xx
Toots – what a lovely idea to take the stones to the new MacMillan house. Such a simple idea but a great way to keep the memories going. Hugs to you xx
Zoelikesjam – you make me tired when you list everything you’ve done! Look after yourself, your eyes could be your bodies way of telling you to slow down – not always possible I know. Hugs to you and thinking of you on Friday xx
Kazm – how old is your DD? Our 10 year old is going through a few ‘issues’ at the moment. She can’t seem to talk without sounding rude…I’m not sure if she even knows she’s doing it sometimes. It came to a head last night (partly because I was so tired) and I’ve said if she’s not rude then I’ll spend half an hour with her on her own and we can do whatever she wants…cook, chat, watch a programme, play with guinea pigs…anything. Lets see if that works!
Summermoon – hugs to you. It’s such a milestone when they start nursery. When I went to watch Mamma Mia with my sister and a load of friends there wasn’t a dry eye when Meryl Streep sang ‘slipping through my fingers’ –warning….if you don’t know the song don’t google the lyrics until you’re feeling stronger!!
Boddy – congratulations!!!! That’s not a bad weight for premature!
Soappie – when you mentioned what had happened I have to admit I googled it and found that article and wondered if it was that. Despicable!
Greenbee – did you make the gym???
Kazwookie - hope things are ok with you. Was wondering where you were the other day. Hugs to you and yours xx

Right, now I’ve procrastinated long enough to write this long post I really must get up off my butt and do today’s and yesterday’s lists!

DS is still off school. His bowel is now playing up which they said could happen as the bladder can start to irritate it. I’m not sending him back to school until he’s 100% because he’ll just catch every bug going. He’s definitely on the mend though – phew!

Right – time to find my list! xx

I've gotta get the sewing machine out ... groan ... I'd far rather be out playing with my mates! :D I've got new curtains, still in the bag, from Ike@, they're a million miles long, so I've got to hem them.

But in order to do that, I've got to clear the DR table  which has got all sorts of bits and bobs from the COD that we cleared... but no-where to live now - like :

A bag of change from assorted American/Jamaican/Euros currency. ( Not enough to bank )
    Headphones from a flight
    Money bags for bagging change
    Name tags for labelling clothes
    Binoculars
    Camera film (undeveloped )
    etc etc etc

all of which lived in a drawer where we kept stuff like that... now I'm not sure what to do with it

Anyway... minor issues really... I just don't wanna do it! :o

ETA : Mudders "slipping through my fingers":cry::cry::cry: *wails* Where did the time go???? Oh bother, I've really upset myself now..... :(

Greenbee, Ive just seen these and they are absolutely gorgeous. what are they made of?

Well im feeling really lazy today and very very cold, but im determined not to put the heating on. I keep telling myself if i get up off my backside and do some flying then I will heat up.

Im kidding myself on when I say to myself I will get started when LO goes to nursery at 1 o'clock, but, I need to go to Asda and there isnt enough time to get everything done between 1 - 3.30pm.

Oh well, I suppose I will make a move at some point, cos my bedroom is an absolute disgrace.

    Jackie xx
