MrsChaos you did loads and yes it is a nice feeling to get things under control - unfortunately we have to get up of the sofa and do it - the elves and fairies dont do it for us!!!! You are doing well and your idea of keeping things that you have done tidy and then adding on something else is really good - remember all the rooms come round again next week - every week - so what you miss you can catch next time because next time it will be a little more sparkly!!!! Well done with the diet too:T
Lil_me hope the assignments go well and the cold goes quickly - look after yourself xx
greenbee those cakes are fabulous, amazing, fantastic, marvellous, brilliant.........can you tell I like them - what a clever lady you are - stuff the new job - go into cake making!!!:rotfl:
rosepink S&S the bathroom etc is just a quick wipe over to freshen it up and to save it becoming a huge task and stop all the germs breeding too much- cleaning it involves deep cleaning with plenty of elbow grease - really scrubbing all the nooks and crannies until it sparkles.

It was our last day at this MacMillan House as we move to a new building this week so there was loads of people there today including previous volunteers and staff. ther was a 'harvest' thanksgiving service which also covered the work done by the staff there.
We all got a stone from the grounds and had a few moments reflection to 'pass' our thoughts of that place and our journeys in life into the stone and then the chaplain collected them and is going to make a small 'cairn' at the new building so that we feel we have taken 'something' with us.
I managed to do a bit of sorting of smellies in the bedroom today so a bit more done.
My lovely friend C (who checks up on me when i am in hospital and she does my washing and shopping bless her) has phoned this evening to say that she and her sister are coming tomorrow morning to tidy my front garden and cut the grass - I am so lucky I love her to bits.
I am off to do a final round up of today;s stars then sign off.
love and hugs to you all as there are plenty of you needing it - I hope tomorrow is a better day for everyone.
special love and prayers for Lady L

Hahahahahahahaha i know your watching me grrrr:mad:
Thanks for the recipe Soapstarsuperstar  I've just stripped the chicken and chucked the carcass in my stock pot so shall make some up and freeze xi just had sugarpuffs yummy! hope mr T comes quickly
omgosh....i looooooooove:lovethougsugar puffs, but only when the milk is cold, cant stand em when they go soggy! They are classed as a weekend treat in this house because i dont like the kids having to much sweet stuff, so they have weetabix without sugar...acording to Jase im the cruelest mum in the world lol
Fell sleep on sofa with millyboo after putting kids to bed at 6.30lol....been up since 6am. Took jaimee to school, went to one of my homestart classes which i was very gratful for today as lewis has been a winging little git all day(piggers i sympathise...i could cheerfully strangle loui today!) so while he played in the creche i chilled on the squishy sofas, drank tea and made a scrapbook page for one of my friends. Got home around 1 and fed lou and milly, chilled and did a little bit of cleaning. School run blah blah kids bed! I cant read properly at all, i think i've got conjunctivitusbut my eyes are all cloudy/blury and lots of goo comin out......right one is incredibly painfull too:mad: Got zero energy but really need to get up and iron the kids clothes and make pack lunches. Glass of homemade cherry wine anyone?
Done a little bit of my court paper thingys, really dont want to go on friday and dredge up history but got no choice. Had ex'bankers' statment this morning from my solicitors....:rotfl:hilarious! He is such an a*hole. Right, just gonna finish this wine, make the lunches....and go to bedfordshire i think! Hugs to everyonexxxx
