Oh the joy.. I just love my job...
DD's 4 and 5 were little gitbags at podiatry.. DD5 got a severe telling off when we left.
DD3 has been told she cannot have her friend come play tonight as she was stealing and damaging things that do not belong to her last night .. and I dropped the 2 littlies back at school at 2pm.. at 2:15 school rang me to go collect DS3
As DS3 was at home OH went to collect the 3 littlies from school at 3pm.. the 2 youngest were littles gitbags some more and ran off refusing to get in he car and come home..
All three have had a severe balling out and have been set to cleaning their bedroom..
DD3 has been told if she steals one more thing I don't care if it is so much as a pencil she is being taken to the police station.
DD's 4 and 5 have both made OH a card apologising for running off and not behaving when he collected them from school
DS3 is laid wrapped up on the sofa having been drugged and diagnosed with swine flu.. which is good because that most likely means DS2 has it.. we knew DD1 had it a few weeks ago.. and OH has developed a cough and DD4 has snot... so it is highly likely they have it too.. lucky me!!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Finally found a nice, friendly stove place who have given me an estimate over the phone.
Could you give me a ball park figure of that estimate? It's something on the back of my mind that I want done...
Hurrah! I have earned a star for today please TOOTS and probably one for the bedroom day when it comes round. My pit is MUCH tidier now though there's too much stuff (neat though!) in it waiting to be rehomed when DS and DiL leave.
Hugs to all the poorly ones.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Pigpen - Hope your family get better soon. Don't spend so much time tending to their needs that you end up getting run down and catching their colds, swine flu etc.
BTW, I hope you feel better for your rant xMFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Oh no I do not do running around after them.. if they are ill they lay on the bed or sofa and sleep/die quietly and I dish out meds accordingly.. mainly to keep them asleep lol.... and I refuse to share their germs... lol
And the rant has resulted in a sore throat and head ache..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I've been AWOL most of last week but I'm back now and need to get things in order. Think I'll start by saying HELLO to everyone and sending hugs for everyone who wants/needs one and for those who don't!
Gonna do my list and then tidy the kitchen while I do tea...left over cheesy mash and beans that need using up. DH and I will eat later.
