Didn't know if I should edit my original post or just add another one. Anyway, have done all of Tuesdays jobs - was disgusted at how dirty the radiators were!

Did my extras too - surprised myself by finishing making the Christmas cards - DS2 wanted to do glueing and sticking!!! AND gained an extra 45 mins as DS1 unexpectedly stayed at school for a computer club! So I used this to go to the garden centre and finished not just one garden bed, but TWO!!!! (one was on my list) and planted a holly bush in the hole that the puppy dug a few days ago!!

REALLY CHUFFED I've done what I've done so far - still have a bit of filing to do though - despite having done my 15 mins!!!! WILL GET THERE!!!

    :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.

Sounds like hugs are in order for KazM (sounds like a job for the union to me), Jinky and Pigpen.

Shivery cold here, too mean to put the CH on but I can't put the fire on as the plastered wall is still drying out. It'll have to be a HHC at 5.45-6.15 just so I can get warm. Need to hoover downstairs and re-make DS1s bed after a little accident yet again last night.

Could you give me a ball park figure of that estimate? It's something on the back of my mind that I want done...

Stove - as much as you want to spend on it  - but I'm looking at 3-4kw steel not cast iron, and should be able to get one for about £600. Installation about £1200. Hearth if needed about £300 (existing one may do, but this is dictated by building regs). I've been to visit now, so just need to choose the stove (and try not to be unrealistic about it... I have expensive taste :D) and they'll give me a detailed quote.

greenbee - fab cakes, love the handbag theme! Do you make them to sell?

Thanks... no, I don't sell them, I just go on courses and occasionally make something for friends (which I usually find stressful as the house is generally untidy and I leave it till the last minute!)

I've got my new tyres as well as having been round to look at stoves, so that's another thing off the list (why does it always take so long... it's boring sitting and waiting!). Tracking was checked and sorted too.

Pigpen - are you in danger of gettng a star

Better do a few things before going to reflexology...

Not much flying today after doing so well yesterday. Shortly after I posted DS took a turn for the worse. GP sent him to A&E and it turns out he has an acute kidney infection. 24 hours in hospital (got home about an hour ago) and he's got to go back tomorrow for some ultrasound tests - apparently urinary tract infections in males is 'uncommon' so they're looking for an underlying cause. Bless him. He's much better after 24 hours on antibiotics and even playing with the wii whilst i'm ready to collapse in a heap and sleep!

I've still managed to clean out the guinea pigs with DD's help, done two loads of washing - I always wash EVERYTHING we've taken to the hospital whenever we've been in. I'll look at today's list tomorrow in the hope of doing some of it.

Hugs to Kazm - that's so unfair!
Greenbee - those bags are amazing, what a talented lady you are!

    Hugs to everyone xx

Been in bed alll afternoon, just woke up about 20 mins ago, feel sick again but this time I think it's cos I got over heated and hungry. Have had a couple of nutrigrain bars and I feel a bit better. Just very groggy and cold and funny. Wish DH would come home but it's his last work day before the holiday and he's catching up on jobs so will be home late.

Not done any flying unless moving shopping into piles - one pile for holiday, one pile to be put away - counts.

Oh, I did some shredding before sleeping and now shredder needs emptying

Hugs Zara and Jinky and Hellsbells and Hex and Summermoon and Mudbath

Well done Wilf you are doing so well with everything

Well done Fedup with your ironing

Pigpen, what a day! Hope everyone is better/behaving soon

I think I will do some walking up and down and see if that helps - sitting down and lying down hasn't.

ETA: One good thing I did this mornign is ring this accountatn we know and she is going to teach me how to do Tim's accounts - he's going to prune her trees in exchange! Yay! Then we can claim HB and coucil tax benefit! THings will be much better when we can get those benefits
