Mrs B.... no firm commitment from me.... I need to consider that one carefully. :)

Sarah - this may be my dodgy memory but wasn't there a post from you some time last year when you you were somewhat focussed on budgeting about how both you and your DH had given up drinking for a month - and you both felt much better, and how much you had saved.

Time to join Mrs B I think :p:p:p

and off to clean I go......

  • [QUOTE=hex2;25462401 I recommend Slimming World too although I do all red days as I dont like pasta, rice etc.

Im not really good with things like SW/WW, I know they work fantastically for a lot of people. I actually dont eat that much (i really dont) I dont eat most of the day, I might manage a sandwich some lunchtimes, but normally only have my main meal in the evening! I know its not healthy but its just how things are for me. My problem is the fact that I must be consuming around 1000 calories a day in wine!!!!

I started this year nearly 14 stone, I aim to end it 10 something, still have the last few pounds to go so will join you all for this challenge..., and I will dust off the wii fit from its hiding place under the living room sofa.

:Twell done you!! excellent achievement on your part!

Well, looks like we have a good little team going here... much bigger and we'll have to get pigpen to add it to to the daily list... or start a new thread!!!:rotfl:

God morning all - lovely here so I have actually been doing something.

So far I have hung out 2 x WM and had a HHG to clear the deap beds of veg stalks now we have our garden waste bin - I'm not usually a gardener but it looked such a mess I thought I would have a go. OH came in and helped with some of the tougher stuff.

Off into town at noon with DD2 as she is out of bras and cash so it is me to the rescue yet again. In town yesterday as well looking for shoes - I am a size 9 so they are few and far between. Went in Deichmann and they have actually started to sell a few, so I am the proud owner of my first pair of ankle boots at the age of 54:j All I need now is to find a nice pair of strappy sandles and I am set for my hols at the end of the month.

Hope all those sore heads are feeling better will be back later to see how you all are.

I don't know if this is the done thing on a Sunday, but I'm going to go for a HHC from 11.00. Gives me just enough time to scoff a quick breakfast first.

Bit late, but I'll join you - the children have asked to be picked up earlier than originally arranged
