That is great news zoe :T:j:T:j:T:j:T
- not surprised you are tired tonight. It's the stress and tension of the last weeks. Put your feet up and relax.0 -
Zoe - that is just the best news....i'm so, so, so pleased for you xxx
Hex - massive hugs to you xxx
I've finally settled DS - he finished the antibiotics today and it already hurts for him to go to the loo so looks like he's getting another infection. He's seeing the specialist on Thursday so i'm hoping gallons of water and some cranberry juice will keep things at bay until then. I can see us having to get more antibiotics though.
House is tidy, yeah, yeah, yeah. I think DH felt guilty about leaving stuff about because he's tidied it all up and then s/s'ed the kitchen to save me doing it!
Hugs to everyone xx0 -
Hi Zoe,
Im so pleased everything worked out okay for you. Take a step back from the flying tonight and relax with your wonderful OH and take a few moments to reflect on how good your life is now.
My sister is fine now. I think she still gets a bit scared when her OH starts his shouting and stuff, but, since they have split up he has never once lifted a finger to her, however, I think this might have something to do with the fact that my sis now has another man in her life, and her ex is a bit scared of him lol.
No flying again for me today, knee is still a bit sore, but, not as bad as last night. Will catch up tomorrow as DH is away all day so he wont get under my feet .
Have a good day everyone, and hugs to you all.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
you are reminding me of one of my favourite jokes, to which the tagline is
Nice t*ts - now where do you want these blinds?
ETA see Rosey has a mucky mind too. Rosey you can't start a fight with Jinky cos she is in God's own county visiting DAZCO
I would start a fight with you Valli instead but this is probably the last time i will be on here before holiday. Sob, how will I cope without you all?? More imporantly, how will you cope without me? :rotfl:
We've nearly finished getting ready - there [STRIKE]are masses [/STRIKE] (that doesn't look right) [STRIKE]is masses [/STRIKE](neither does that) is a lot of stuff by the front door ready to go in the car - looks like DH is just about to do that now.
I've given the kitchen a really good clean up -need to s&s bathroom sink too and bleach the loo last thing before we leave. There's a few bits left to pack -mobile phone chargers, and a few bits that can't be done till the morning like toothbrushes and the fridge and freezer stuff.
I'm feeling really cold and shivery and achey - have come to bed. Don't have the energy even to watch Strictly. Am recording it tho. I'm sure it's just cos I've been busy today and because I'm excited about tomorrow.
See you all in two weeks - be good and happy flying! Love ya xx"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

now, about this grouting...
Flash with bleach leave it to fizzle use a toothbrush to brush it in then rinse off. Tip from Mr. Quillion xxs'mine tomorrow and you're joining me for a drink I hope
after I have been on the river clean:D:D:D:D<< that's the flying bit on this post oh illustrious one!
and I am a sort of honorary bridesmaid/bridesmother I think.
My pal has asked me to go with the to help her look for a dress - the date is set. Any tips? I am going to take (a) a notebook and (b) a camera then we know what she liked/did not like etc.
'We' are looking for a reception venue for 100 guests (day) with, possibly, 50 more for the evening do, in, or close to Valliland.
and 'their' song, which will be played during the service, is perfect and I shall cry - I have a year to practise not weeping
(NO good me recommending either of the places I had my TWO receptions in because they have BOTH been demolished:rotfl:)
I have had a lovely lunch - mushrooms in a stilton sauce, steak and kidney pie (a sort of cobbler top) and veggies and creme brulee...
Left DD here with TV and a cheese sandwich, going cof cof cof

Well done Miss H and Jassa and all other newbies – you have all done incredibly well! Next week will be easier, now you’ve made a start the rooms will all be easier to manage next week!
Zoe that’s such wonderful news! I am so pleased! I’m not surprised you are exhausted, what an emotional few days you’ve had.

A British store is launching a range of underpants for left-handed men, an innovation it says will save them both time and embarrassment in front of the porcelain.
The new range, by UK-based Hom, will have a horizontal opening instead of a vertical slit accessed from the right-hand side, breaking a tradition that has lasted for 75 years.
"In our view, this is a vital step toward equality for left-handed men," said Rob Faucherand of Debenhams store.
Almost 10 percent of British men are believed to be left handed but men's Y-fronted underpants have traditionally had a right-handed opening from the time they were invented in 1935.
"As a result," Debenhams said, "left-handed men have to reach much further into their pants, performing a Z shaped manoeuvre through two 180 degree angles before achieving the result that right handed men perform with ease."
Previously, it added, boxer shorts, with an adaptable, ambidextrous opening in the middle, have been the underpants of choice for left handed men.
The new pants mean that left handed men can finally go to the bathroom as quickly and efficiently as their right-handed colleagues, the store said.
"Switching the opening from vertical to horizontal may sound like a small step, but it's the major breakthrough that many have been waiting for," added Faucherand. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I have been to hospital today to see my friend and she has vastly improved since my last post, so much so that we were able to go to her house for a couple of hours which was lovely. She is by no means back to her normal self but she is getting there.
I have taken a few of my units to my Mums today and will take some more over soon. My living room looks like a bomb has dropped i may take a picture if i dare lol.
I have a vision of what it will look like and that is the only thing keeping me going or i will scream i hate it messy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What have you lot done to me lol:beer: Officially Debt Free Nov 2012 :beer:0 -

No exchange of contracts here today ~sigh~ it's all getting a little fraught. Completion is currently scheduled for the 30th September but it's getting close.
Once exchange has happened we can all begin to think the end is in sight...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
