On the flying front this has been a bad week, and now have to try and play catch-up as much as I possibly can this weekend. I have been doing the dailies but since I went to my DD2 the other weekend I have had boxes everywhere (she was storing them for me in her cellar) so have to unpack them and bootfair/charity shop them first before any flying in LR and hall... Another week to go before I finish my job, the partners have planned a drinks do for all the staff for me and colleague on Wednesday, and are taking me for a meal afterwards. I thought it was a nice gesture after 15 years, but redundancy is redundancy. Never mind, I keep thinking I will have lots of time to fly and organise house! And not before time.

Congrats again zoe, I bet you wake up with a grin from ear to ear this morning Looking forward to seeing that grin when we all see you on TV :T don't forget to let us know when you are going to be on.

We are away overnight tonight for a family reunion in Coventry. Had a quick count up and there will be about 30 of us all from my Dad's side, some whom we have not seen in years so should be good.

Think it was Dusty talking about trumpets, Miss A told me last night that she is going to play an instrument but is not sure what yet but it might be a 'long one' or a trumpet depending on what school have. I am guessing it might be a trombone :eek: :rotfl: just so long as she does not mix music lessons and water polo up we will be fine :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Done the kitchen, how does it get so grotty after one meal/night anyway, unloaded then re-loaded the DW, thoroughly cleaned everything including the bin urgh! took the cat box outside cause it honks, will clean it later, she goes outside mainly now anyway, got a bin bag of rubbish to chuck in the bin, and need to check FF for summat for tea.

Fedupandskint, hope your feeling better today. I agree with the other poster (sorry forgot your name) go onto friends reunited and track down those long lost buddies, or if you still have their address, telephone numbers why dont you just give them a call and meet up for a coffee and take it from there, just sat you came across something that reminded you of them and you decided to call them to find out how they were doing.

It doesnt matter if your OH doesnt like them their YOUR friends not his. Hope your feeling a lot better today.

Morning everyone. Lovely and sunny here. Im pleased as its the fair at mums home today. Will just do the dailies then off to see mum. After that Im going to DDs till its time to go see the baby. Ive got a load of washing in as I want it all done and dried before they start on the bathroom on Monday. The bathroom is downstairs so wont have them tramping through the house.

Quillion. The baby is doing well and should be home on Monday. They live near me and as Im using their bathroom while mine is being done I will see her quite a bit. Have offered to babysit if the weather is bad and her mum needs to pop out or anytime.
