holly... is the branch closing or is the whole company closing? In which case is it going into adminnistration. There would be a process for this situation within that.. the company solicitors or Admin bodies would be dealing with it. If they are being bought out the new owners will have bought the outstanding stuff as well.

decluttered a few crumpets and a cuppa...

    Collected some demons.

The oven cleaner hasn't worked so well this time, although I did take it off early and I think it might not be as thick as the coat I used before. However it isn't as bad as this morning so that is a good sign. All the trays are spotless so I won't have to worry about those next week. We are using the oven to heat a pie later so I will see if the residue on the bottom smokes or not. After that I am going to try not to use it over the weekend.

Although I am going to be in for next week's flying, I am going to have to do it in 2 days so I will be knuckling down in my 2 days off and ticking the bits off as Pigpen puts them on. I will need a lot of HHCs and support to get it done, but that is why I fly with other ladies so I am confident it will get done.

Do I start on the spare room before OH gets in?

It's just the branch that is closing. I have no idea now who owes me the money. OH is going mad and saying i should have taken them to court months ago.

:eek:DS3 has brought the trumpet home for the first time, there goes any peace this weekend.

I've decluttered a bag of stuff to the charity shop.

Going to get the washing in and rummage around for something for dinner but not sure what.

No star for me today (sorry) but am really pleased with what I did in the RoD. Cleared the windowsill and managed to clean the windows. 3 bags of stuff out and a bag of stuff to take back to Primark. All plants watered and plant pots washed - when they go back in there they should look great - 2 plants chucked out.

I should be using this room, not abusing it with clutter - it has a sea view for goodness sake!

Still, really pleased with my first week as a Flylady - it will be a while before I get to 5 stars a week, but I WILL get there!

Thanks for your support this week.

  • I think I've got a little low level lurgy...waiting to launch into something else! I've had a lazy day, and have slept for most of it.

Right, I'd better haul myself off to clear up the kitchen at least. ;)

Kiddies all watching a movie, so think i best keep flying while they are quite. Think a cuppa first, then sort the washing.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

  • Spooky...both Valli and Angelnicki's DSs have their birthdays today. Now, which flylady is having their birthday today? And its not you Valli. We know you are tomorrow ;)

Has anyone heard from Zoe? Been thinking about her all day.
