I'm not surprised you're tired wilf!!! You're getting loads done, and trying to do even more.
Good luck with the meal planning. I think about it every so often, but as there is only one of me, in theory it doesn't really matter. As I hate shopping I go to great lengths to live out of my fridge/freezer/cupboards and avoid going out and buying anything!0 -

Hi all,
this looks like the answer to my prayers. I've tried to draw up lists before, but never stuck to any. Not having much time for housework and the ability to procrastinate with the best don't help. I've already spent hours on the website tonight, instead of getting on with jobs I was supposed to do. If I commit to doing this in writing and for others to see, it may just do the trick. I will have to ignore the other forums and threads, though, until we dare open the door to visitors.
I've had a go at drawing up a list for tomorrow and I hope I can get it done. We are going to have an exchange student staying with us in 3 weeks and I have my work cut out. Any tips will be greatly appreciated. Realistically, I can fit in housework between 4pm and 8pm. During that time I've also got to spend time with the kids, see to tea and do other daily stuff. After 8pm I'll need time for paperwork and maybe a bit of time for myself. I aim to be in bed by 11pm, but I rarely manage it.
I'll let you know how I get on.
Manic Monday ~ Kitchen
Level One
Declutter worksurfaces
Sweep and mop floors
Level Two
Wipe worksurfaces and see if you can do those small appliances on the way round
Wipe fronts of units and large appliances
(freezer - is frost-free and bursting at the seams)
Level Three
Clean out the fridge (on Friday - before next big shop)
Wipe the hob and oven
(no table in the kitchen and the dining room will have to wait until next week - the kitchen will take up all of my time tomorrow)
Extras- Wash kitchen window (incl window sill)

Morning ladies!all who have joined us already this week!
Valli - I used to iron naked and once burnt my right breast leaning over the ironing board to pick something up..:rotfl: Hope yours isn't too painful hon.
Thank you Pigpen, Toots and Soappie for all your hard work on the thread.
kazmeister - good luck to your husband
Jinky and Rosepink :wave:Feeling a bit grumpy today. My blood sugar levels are still running high. I have been on Byetta for nearly 3 months now and while they have halved I am still about double the safe numbers - triple after I eat sometimes. My problem is eating - I do too much of it. I may have to go on Metformin but know nothing about it so waiting to see the consultant again next week. Why is eating healthily such hard work for me? Ok, grump over..Anyway, my list for today is as follows -
Feed the cat at least twice
Brush the cat
Sort and delete 10 emails
reply to emails
Clean bathroom sink
Spray bleach on the bottoms of the shower curtainsExtras
[STRIKE]Put breadmaker on[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]put washing in WM and switch on[/STRIKE]
Get OH to get craft stuff out of loft to make cards
Post on gardening Forum
Do nail art
choose veg seeds and bulbs for next year
Ring for repeat prescription
Write to Dr.
I hope you all have a successful day flying.to all who need them.

I have had a read through of the thread in order to try and keep up to date!
Valli, Ive done that, like some of the others was ironing the top i was about to wear.....I ironed the top to the edge of the board and hit my stomach with the side of the iron......and to make it worse I was going on holiday a few days later. I went off sporting a 4 inch burn straight across my tummy :rolleyes:to all the newbies and returners..... xx
Off to get ready now and do some of the kitchen before i go to work, so really just want to check the list!
Toots, I hope your taking it easy lovely..... xxxSometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying
