Using mobile in South Africa

I have a 200mins 500texts monthly contract with Virgin. I am going to South Africa for three weeks over Christmas and New Year. What is the cheapest way of sending texts? Is there a cheap way of making a call to England on Christmas Day and New Years Day from there?

Go to Virgin mobile website, it will give you all the necessary info about roaming/charges for South Africa
To be absolutely honest with you tho your best bet would be to get a world call card as they are quite readily available anywhere in South Africa, the prices range from R25-R100,(approx £2-£5) depending on the amount of minutes you want the cheapest ones you can make a call for atleast 60 min to most desitinations, I personally think this would be a better option than using your mobile! whether it roams or not:)hthLOVE isn't finding someone you can live with.
