Spend the money on insulating your house if it needs doing, shall save you much more with pay back 1-2 years rather than +40yrs! And like people said, green tariffs, ecotricity and good energy are the best!0

The economic issues discussed above seem to ignore time factors. Economists are famed for mistaking natural capital for income. Coal and oil are capital and the 'return on investment' comments above seem to assume it is income. For how long will these calculations be valid?
Lets not forget it is economic arguments about growth being good that has led to the current financial crisis!0
