Mine are 6 and 8 and they don't get any!
Occasionally, if I have no choice but to take them to the supermarket with me, they get £1 each.0 -

my ds's are 11, 8 and 2. They get £1 each off Nan a week, and nothing off us! and still quite happy about that! long may it continue!0

No kids of my own, but brother's kids, 12,10 and 7 don't get any - they use pester power instead.
Might be because they live in the middle of nowhere with no public transport so can't wander into town with friends, so they don't have anything to spend it on.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

my son whos 11 only gets pocket money if he does any household chores, depending on what he does and how well he does it. anything between 50p and £1.00 per job. anything he wants he has to save his own money for it.... i am hoping to install some money sense into him.lolmum to two beautiful children:T0
