Help with Business Electricity

I'm still looking around and following on from British Gas cancellation, they rung me today 'as a valued customer' as they would like us to look at them when we are up for renewal at the end of December. They are now offering 40.48 per day standing charge (same as they offered before) and 7.80 per kw hr, which is slightly less than before. They are offering this on either a 1 or 2 year fix. Is this tempting as a 2 year fix?

Hi Rachel, the unit rate on that quote sounds good but if i remember correctly EON and Scottish Power were doing slightly better. Give them a call. I'm not a broker. i do work for an energy company i prefer to help people rather than screw them on behalf of a multi-national faceless company. thats all im saying. shop shop and shop around some more before you agree.

I actually found a really good deal with E.on , I don't have the exact details but it was a year fix, about 6.99 per unit and 23 per day standing charge, it was the deal online so they manage account online, etc... very good compared with others, U-Switch couldn't compare. PS - E.on didn't offer this price on the phone only on the website, but I am well pleased.
