Update - with thanks for all the suggestions, however despite me being sure it wasn't a medical problem, turns out that it was after all.
She was probably slightly sick under the anaesthetic and burnt the inside of the oesophagus leading to the regurgitation, so with medication she's now a lot better.
Just goes to show you should always rule out the physical first, however as she is and always will be a complete guts, I'll be bearing the suggestions in mind for future reference. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
just found this thread and was going to suggest raising food bowl! but if its physical prob then hopefully that will be sorted out. my springer ate as if she was homeless and starved!!! never seen food disappear so fast! sometimes she would choke she didnt swallow one mouthful before taking another - we cured this by raising her food bowl onto a stool forcing her to steal her food one mouthful at a time! and as she would steal food anyway! it worked!0
