Is it legal to watch ITV HD via a Sky HD box

A quickgoogle search reveals how a normal SKY HD box can be re-tuned to view ITV HD programmes, but can anyone say if it is legal or not?

as it is being broadcast unscrambled and can be tuned in by compatible receivers I assume it is

As you can add, a few, other channels by means of the "add channel" function I cannot see any reason for it not being legal

I will add it to my box if my EPG ever gets updated

There's no issue with adding and watching ITV HD through your Sky HD box.

As Julie says, the only problem at the moment is that you have to have the new EPG on your HD box.

looks like the same way I added Real Madrid TV before it became part of the proper Sky line up

it's legit to add it (although as it says you cannot use any of the Shy HD box record functions for this channel)

ITV HD is broadcast free-to-air, the Sky box is yours, you can legally watch whatever it will give you.

It's only when you start using "strange" cards that you may run into problems.
