(Give it a rest, Jemma. You are getting tiresome and boring. And wrong. The English language is flexible. Stating something is "free" is not contradicted where it is only "bundled" or "inclusive" or subject to other qualifying criteria.)

But it's not free. The OP said it was then admitted it wasn't. People need to stop saying "free" cos it's ain't.

Massive lie that gets on my nerves (which is why I keep repeating myself).

Eh, if it's Free™ how come he was charged? I don't pay for my caller display with BT but they've not told me it's Free™. I have to follow their strict T&Cs and then they'll still charge me but credit the account bill.

It's not splitting hairs, it's clear English. Instead of people arguing or commenting on my posts why not use your energy to correct this big lie of "free"? If we are supposed to help people here I can't see how that's happening if people keep saying it's Free™.

Hi there, the BT caller display service is free of charge if you make at least two calls per month on monthly billing or six calls per quarter on quarterly billing. This excludes calls to 0800 number ranges, 1471 and 1571, 1471 Call Return (press 3) is included.

If the minimum amount of calls needed are not made customers are charged for the service. This caller display service is charged at £2.50 a month (inc VAT) and £7.50 a quarter (inc VAT). Hope this clears things up for you.. Natasha BT Support
