Praise for Argos

Not a big fan of argos to be honest. I ordered a 42" TV (which actually broke a month later so I got a refund) and they delivered it while I was at work and only the missus was home. We lived in a second floor flat and refused to carry it upstairs - that's 2 adult men refusing to carry a large, heavy (but reasonably easy for 2 people to carry) TV due to 'health and safety' but expecting my 5"7 fiancee to carry it up 2 flights of stairs by herself. In the end she got some builders who were on site to carry it up for her.

If I'd have been home I'd have told the pathetic little pricks to f*** off and take their TV with them. Are they really that stupid they don't take into account that an address starting 'Flat 5' might be up some stairs.

they are supposed to deliver to the address! it started 'flat 5' so that is where they suposed to deliver to! complain! but dont expect much cos to be honest - it hasnt caused you any financial hardship. oh - and if it broke within a month - complain even harder!!! argos usually quite good on refunds tbh. how did you get on with that?

Kick up a fuss, I have had some dealings with Argos deliveries as part of my job and they could have easily used a stairwalker and if they didn't have one they could have re-arranged delivery with one.
