ISA transfer in different surnames - problem?

I am in the middle of completing the paperwork for my ISA transfer and the person to speak to at the bank is out till monday so just looking for some advice!
I got married three months ago so my current ISA is still in my maiden name. My new ISA has been set up to my married name. There is no where on the transfer forms to explain the different names. Will the banks cause a problem over this? My national insurance number hasn't changed so that should link the two names! Would a covering letter and a copy of my wedding certificate suffice? I did not bother to change the ISA over to my new name as I knew I was going to be closing the account soon but I rather naively did not think of this!

Change your name with the current supplier and ensure that the change goes through before the transfer out.0

Whilst it might seem easier to notify the old provider of the change of name, as otherwise it's causing lots of fiddle-faddle with the new one, it might be better to do it the other way ... open it in your maiden name and THEN change your name with the new one.
That's because the new one will need to verify your ID and will probably successfully do it electronically if you are using your old details; your new name may not match up yet.0
