OMG! Have I won??!!

OMG, I just got a call from someone calling about the holiday to Spain in Total Puzzle Monthly magazine. I didn't win the first prize but a runners up prize of 1 weeks holiday in an apartment that sleeps 4 for only £129. Assume I have to get my own flights - forgot to check!!
Anyway, I was quite suspicious cos sounded like the 4 Seasons scam but he said there's no conditions, don't have to take presentations etc.
He gave me a web address www.pueblo-evita.net

Is this a scam?? He only gave me a mobile number to call back on but I thought that the fact it came from a magazine but make it a but more 'kosha'

Anyone that can let me know if they have had any experience of this would be very much appreciated.

No idea, but Pueblo Evita is time share or was as I had a time share there about 15 - 18

It still looks like a scam to me i'm afraid. Having to pay £129 is not a win - and possibly having to pay for your own flights too doesn't sound promising.
So sorry, hope you get a good real win soon. x

Thanks, I suppose I didn't really mind about the cost too much cos it's in Benalmadena where we normally go with my parents each year so would be much cheaper than paying for it full price.
Anyway, will enter some more comps and hope I don't win any hols - just a nice fat cash prize would keep me happy!!!!!!!!

I had the same call yesterday. I'm pretty sure its a time share thing, and as Chelseagirl has said, you should never have to pay for a win.

I had this call too but the man who called Harry Campbell gave me this number to call if interested 0871 423162 and he works between 3 and 8 pm monday to friday

There are definately no flights but just £129 for the apartment which sleeps 4 but he made it clear I hadn't won the comp but they were offering this if I was interested. he also gave me a reference number to quote if I wanted to book

i have had the call this eening too - saying that i had not one first prize but the runner up. £129 for a week at Pueblo Evita. Is thistime share. Something a bit odd about it, surley if you win a comp it is free and you should not pay anything - even if runner up???

just had same call as everyone else.....not first prize but runner up...and as so many had entered they were ringing round to offer a week for £129....now call me thick....lol....but having to pay for my own flights AND pay £129 for a week in an appartment sounds like a "scam", certainly in as much as they will be filling what are probably empty appartments and instead of sitting empty for a week earning nothing...they will "give" them to runners up...thereby generating £12,900 .....better getting some money in I suppose....in my opinion....scam....I won't be taking them up on their offer.

Crikey, what are the chances of 8 out of the 10 runners-up all being MSEer- I've had the call too!
